Aspley Lions Club


Aspley Lions Club makes things happen!
Through Aspley Lions you get to make new friends, have a great time and meet people from a diverse range of backgrounds, all while participating as a team in worthwhile and satisfying community projects.

We are actively involved working on projects to help make our community a better place in which to live.

Aspley Lions Club,  Brisbane, Queensland, is part of Lions District 201Q3 and is dedicated to improving all aspects of our local community, especially in the areas of youth, sight, hearing and the environment.


Aspley Lions Club
meets at 7:00pm on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month. at the Aspley Hornets Football Club, Graham Road, Carseldine.

Aspley is situated 13Km north of the Brisbane City Centre.

Aspley Lions Club was Chartered in 1968 and presently has 31 members.

Our Banner includes the Cobb & Co Coach, as Aspley was the first staging point for the north bound coaches leaving Brisbane in the 1800s.


We are the Lions


We meet the needs of our local communities and the world. Lions International consists of over 1.3 million men and women in 205 countries.


We are involved in vision and health screenings, building parks, supporting eye hospitals and medical research, scholarships, youth development, providing help in time of disaster and much more.

Fundraising!

Aspley Lions Club helps raise funds for all kinds of worthwhile projects to assist the community.


Sausage Sizzles are periodically held at Bunnings Carseldine to help raise funds for Club Projects and we thank Bunnings for their continued support.


Please refer to the Club Calendar for events, functions, and sausage sizzle dates, times and participants.


Funds are also raised through the selling of Lions Christmas Cakes and Lions Mints. For supplies in the Aspley / Chermside area, please contact us.
